Most Saturdays I would head off to check out a nearby town, maybe visit Weymouth or Exeter, sometimes venturing back into the homelands to Wadebridge, Bodmin, meeting strangers and partying or just passing time,One Saturday I just went to Yeovil, which out of Crewkerne and the former, Yeovil had Bands and lively stuff going on, Crewkerne by comparison was dull, a sacred kind of dull, but none the less, dull. I purchased some groceries which I had intended to greedily devour in the splendour of my caravan, a tin of sausalatas, brown muscavado sugar, lapsang suchong tea, dried bananas, fruesli etc, just as I was about to board the bus for East Coker I saw a guy I knew from Scilly called MAC, Mac was a friend of Roger Davison, master of the inuendo, the understatement and impeccable pacing in his orations, Mac was off to Glastonbury on a bus that changed in Yeovil, so I went too and so did my groceries..
