The Newcross Art Prize is a relatively new Art Prize based in South London and centring upon the wide range of interest that is represented by practitioners with studio's in the locality, students at the nearby colleges and those who are representing a wide ethnic and lifestyle range. The Lewisham Art House is also home to several practicing artists with studio provision through the local authority. There are lessons and sessions and events held a various periods through the calendar.
