In addition to my concerns about making art that fitted my own scale. I investigated those primary concepts gradually bringing widely scattered parts of my own experience towards a common outcome, initially clumsy but actually that clumsy quality was something I absorbed rather than attempting to tame, it is a quality within the action of drawing that I dislike, this constant need to perfect, so that by drawing with yarn or thread I relied upon new criteria to form shapes, the three dimensional potential of fibres, the narrative capacity and the time based quality of threading yarns into fabrics.
