In this double exposure, I wanted to work on the relationship between nature and love. The symbolism seemed evident as the trees this season, appear to be vast network of branches interlacing themselves and connecting them.
Such as blood vessels, this network is the source of life. My companion being a future doctor, it seemed obvious to connect the idea of life cycle circulates and renewing its image.
This is why I decided to link its image with that of the tree. A strong tree and love that transcends the weather to support life in a natural and passionate communion.
In my country, France, the debate is now just as passionate on the subject of know if our love should be legitimized civil as well as that of one man and a woman.
I think this is also what I wanted to show in this series, despite these people who see us as different from them. We will be there standing strong like trees we love without worrying about them.
Why do not they do the same on their side? Why they persist in wanting to margin? Love should never be outside. It is the best thing for humanity, a natural thing, a cycle of feeling and passion.
