This is the first Cyanotype I have ever made. I purchased the Sunography paper (solar powdered paper sold by Lomography) at one of the art supply stores by me. It’s a bit pricy at $14 for 6 5x7sheets so I stopped at 3 and posted the best ones I made. To make this print I used some cardboard letters and shapes, as well as, transparency paper that had. I followed the instructions and let the paper sit out in the sun for 10 minutes. I then rinsed it in a bath of lukewarm water and lastly (not on the directions) poured some hydrogen peroxide on it. This last step is vital if you are looking for a vibrant and rich color, if you want a dull more muted color let dry as is. I had a lot of fun and can’t wait to use the rest of the paper on other projects. This photo was shot on film. Taken by jamiew in San Diego, CA, United States.
