The last time I used a waterproof camera at the water park the viewfinder keeps fogging up. Cold water and hot weather, you do the math. The Fuji QuickSnap is the first waterproof cam that doesn’t fog up and is so fast at taking pics. thus, the term QuickSnap haha. At 800ISO you can capture quick pics whilst riding a boat or a jetski or someone falling off their raft. Keep in mind tho that your subject has to be at least 3ft away. Above water, you can be sure that anything 3ft and further will be in focus. But underwater, you are only limited to 10ft. Also, there is no flash. The 800ISO film is good for sunny, cloudy, and/or overcast days but the lake and river we went to was really dark and murky so any underwater pics were kind of pointless. Luckily, the clearwater springs were perfect.
So where are you going? To the beach? The pool? The lake or the river? Take pictures! oh but your favorite camera isn’t waterproof. Trust me, go for the Fuji QuickSnap 800 Waterproof camera. You won’t be disappointed.
One-time Use 35mm Point&Shoot
800 ISO film
Focal length: 1m (3.3ft) to infinity – above water.
1m to 3m (3.3ft to 10ft) – underwater. Camera is functional underwater as far as 10m (35ft)
I couldn’t wait to develop this film. I had a good feeling I had gotten amazing pictures so I wanted to take it a step further; let’s cross process the film. I called a local film store to see if they would cross process my film. To my sadness they had never heard of cross processing C-41 film, let alone in one-time use camera. They referred to me a professional film developing store in Riverside. I’ve gone to them before and I trust they’ll fulfill my wishes to cross process my C-41 film. And they did!
I have to say they look excellent! can’t wait to do another roll!
