Fresh from the Lab : My second 120 film shot, Orwo NC color negative film expired in 80's

Thank you very much for Aditya Indra who gave me this 2 roll psychedelicool film for free

Yesterday I did lomowalk with @ekeupratama @fadjaradiputra @fajaryayat @kuryzu to Bosscha observatory, Lembang, Bandung, Indonesia and I use my Annie (my Lubitel 166+ camera name =) loaded with Orwo NC color negative film expired in 80’s.

I got two roll of this 120 film for free. Thanks to Aditya Indra, my online friend who I haven’t yet meet, who gave me this psychedelic color result film.

The film producing a painting tone look a like and thanks God the object still appear eventhough it covered by the dominant painting effect tone.

What I learn for my next roll using this film that I should not shoot the object that I want it look at the detail, such as this photo. I want to snap the clock with “Alpine” iconic logo but it didn’t appear because of this very expired film couldn’t catch the bright light at the small object.

Eventhough many people think the photo is so strange but I really love the atmosphere that the photo tone and color gave, it remind me of one of my fave German polaroid artist, Steffanie Schneider.

Another learn from this film maybe I just should keep searching the unique shape of dark subject at the bright sun shiny light just like this tree.

But I guess I was wrong when I thought only shoot with this film at the bright light condition. This photo prove it, when the dark cloud covered one of the iconic Institut Teknologi Bandung’s building and the ray of light appear at the sky, if I shoot this epic panorama with my Erika (my Horizon Perfekt name =) maybe it would be perfect, but I’m quite bored shoot ray of light with my Erika. So I shoot the object with my Annie. Unfortunately the ray of light didn’t appear at the photo but thanks again to God the object still appear.

As the Ray of light lover I can’t stand to snap the sky again and again, but (ofcourse _) it didn’t appear at my second photo T_T

Because it’s my first Orwo NC roll I considered this as the test roll, so when the weather turned dark close to the rain (yes, nowaday the weather in Bandung, Indonesia is strange, the rain haven’t stop from the last year of November) I did the don’t think just shoot to finish my last four snap.

So far it’s not bad for the test roll, I will try my best at the second roll, with me luck =)
