I doubt the cliche has "NO EDIT" while it scanned to be digital file

Don’t have a scanner for film really stress me very much. This is the re-scan photo.

Because the first photo dissatisfied me

eventhough the lab photo has scanned it twice, with & without sprocket hole.

Why the same cliche produce different color, even in BW cliche?

I’m bored with veeeryyy green-ish color

But when re-scan it at the lab photo which made my Kodak EB appear like color negative film it’s still greenish hahahaha

Too much fuji provia color

and look like a color negative fuji provia color scan at the different lab photo

I want to saving money to buy a scanner but @adi_totp said regular scanner can’t chase the quality of photo lab scanner. It’s made me confuse, why the best scanner at lab photo always result the weirdest color. So that’s why I said I don’t believe in “NO EDIT” word anymore because the cliche went through edit process while scanning at the lab photo or at personal computer/laptop/smartphone scanner.

I have epson v500 scanner, for me ok, but for high contrast scans of crossed films i have to go to the lab. But i prefer more and more to scan for myself, even if the scan is not so contrast, because of the possibility of control. For me "no edit" means more like "smart edit" : i take all the histogram from the scanner (not automatic setting) and after i cut off the blind parts of histogram, ev. i set the right exposure and thats it.

@kasta72 : Thank you very much for the info. By the way if it's not automatic setting do you mean youe edit the color?

@hervinsyah: if you start to scan for yourself, the scanner apply some kind of automatic setting first and it takes only the part of histogram of the film - i dont know why, and how it chose that, first times i even did not realized it. I think that is what most of the labs do (using some kind of autosettings). But you can call it "editing" actually. So now i always manually chose whole the histogram to scan - i have to do it for every frame, but i capture realy all the color/brightnes spectrum of the film. I dont care so much about "edit/no edit" rules, but i try to respect the film color spectrum, not to chose only the high contrast peak of histogram - but its just my point of view

@kasta72 : Thanks again for the info. Yeah, maybe I'm too straight with this "NO EDIT" word. Maybe I should have fun and keep shoot, but I can't keep calm hahaha sorry I'm type too much. Thank you very much, very appreciating your share, my friend =D

@fadjaradiputra : bisa jadi. tapi penekanan urang pada istilah "NO EDIT" yang selalu digembar-gemborkan para analoger, pada kenyataannya henteu oge pan, pastilah di edit juga. haha
