Cordon’s Smokehouse and Grill is a wonderful Mediterranean
style barbecue restaurant, located in the back of Cordon’s
Market. They are, truly, all about the meat, smoke roasting
all their cuts on either an old fashioned charcoal smoker
grill or in a modern smoker oven, depending on the meat.
Steaks and hamburgers are flame grilled. Brisket and turkey
legs are done in the old fashioned smoker grill, and things
like tri-tips and chickens are done in the smoker oven.
Everything is simply prepared with just a salt and seasoning
rub. Any sticky sauces are on the side. They have their
own barbecue sauce, hot and mild, dispensed in the dining
room, and you can buy it bottled. They bottle it themselves.
They opened February 2013 and have evolved wonderfully, since.
There are also smoke roasted vegetables and vegetarian items
on the menu. Here are shots of the menu:

All portions are very large and could, definately, be enough
for two. Here are photos of the restaurant and staff:
I rate the food as 4 1/2 out of 5 and ambience 3 1/2 out of 5.
The photos were shot with a Minolta SR505.
Also in the Cordon’s Market, on the other side of the meat
counter is La Cocina Cordon’s, another complete kitchen,
preparing Mexican and Salvadorean foods to go, also excellent.
