The first time you take a camera for a spin, you never know what the outcome will be. Most of the times the results are not what you would expect, but there's always this one shot, one shot that lightens up the rest and makes you smile thinking... "oh, so this is what the Horizon Perfekt is all about..."

There I was sitting on a bench waiting for some friends to go inside the Hopper exhibition in Madrid when suddenly I spotted this large blue wall and I thought to myself, “I’ll put the Horizon on the bench and wait until nobody passes so I can get a nice panorama of that bright blue wall”.

I waited for what seemed ages, when suddenly, the moment I was waiting for, I had already set the camera into place, looked down and made sure it was all good, pressed the shutter button and the eagerly looked up.

My face shifted from a full on smile to a slight frown thinking: “crap these two just ruined my shot…” I took the roll to the lab and when I got it back and scanned this picture that big smile came back. It had been that unpredictable presence that broke the structure of my shot that actually gave me this whole other awesome picture.

So I guess once again, I can only be thankful for those “happy accidents”…

I was going to say that I wish I had more accidents like that one. ;)
