This LOMO community eases the itch, or my itch, to travel.
Everyday I travel. I do, really. But I don’t spend for train or plane tickets. My hotel stay is free all the time. And getting to my destinations is as fast as light itself. Just like yesterday. I woke up and zoom! I was in Eastern United States enjoying Massachussettes through photos by @clickiemcpete, then I did a street walk in Ginza district in Tokyo through photos of @pussylove, and then a short zap to Thailand and Italy because of the doubles project by @dakadev_pui and @goonies, not to mention spending lunch and siesta in Barcelona through photos of @robter. Then the other day I remember walking the streets of Paris, oh Paris! because of @cc-in-paris and also seeing Vienna at a different perspective because of the fisheye album of @suizidekid. Then it all wrapped up by a tour of magical flowers provided by @kleeblatt. And what I’m most thankful for is that everyday, almost everyday, I get to go home to my motherland, the Philippines. My friend Marisa, aka @b0rn2b1ush, just helped me get there again yesterday. Thanks girl!
And some days I’m in Madrid, Portugal, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore…..Sweden, Germany, Canada and even Australia. Some days I’m just here in the U.S. but still it’s great travel because I get to go to Colorado, New York, Nevada, Arizona…It’s like a real road trip!
You get my point, I guess.
This Lomo community is great. Especially for someone who loves to travel and considers travel a must in one’s life. But aside from easing the itch to travel, the photos and friendship that this community provide is awesome. I’m so blessed to have bought that Diana Mini early last year which led me to join this community.
I just hope that soon I’ll meet one of you guys!
(Off to my next destination…)
