I found a fifty year old pic from my mum and a pic I made some years ago on the same spot in my grandfathers workplace. I found some more old pics and new pics which show some resemblance
These are shot at my grandfathers work place, he was a tailor. The funny thing is that when I shot my pictures, I was not aware of the existence of the old pictures.

And now the most shocking pic. It is my father and the resemblance with my daughter is awesome. I only discoverd this pic yesterday and me and my wife were speechles. I am gonna shoot little Rosie in the same setting :)

This is a fascinating combination of shots! For some reason, seeing the second one gave me goosebumps. Something about the link across time, I guess - the girls who are no longer there, the unchanged, neglected decor, the fact that both portray 'caged' beings... Can't articulate it very precisely, but it's powerful. Well done, my friend.

@buckshot It's a lucky combination. When I made my photo, I was not aware of the existence of the old photo. This week my mum asked me to scan some old pics, so i discovered that old pic and a bell rang... hey I have one on the same spot !
