Developing your own film is a lot of fun and I can do the one thing my lab won't do: cross processing colour negative film and hybrid processing. Yes, you should try this at home.

I know 2013 was going to be 'the year in which I will not buy a camera.' But I could not resist this one. It is a solid piece of metal,it works and I payed 63 euros including shipment from Russia, with love. Yesterday I shot my first roll and I already know I am going to use this camera a lot.

My favorite film is the ¨Polaroid ISO 1500 Sepia film. I had eight packs and now I have four left. I've searched the almighty internet and it seems I have the last packs. As I tried doing stuff with other peel apart instant film, I can tell you: Sepia 1500 is the film you want. So there is no need in submitting this as a tipster, because you won't find any Sepia 1500 anymore.

I was thinking the last days on what could be the subject of my first 2013 entry, an essay on the future of analogue photography, the fact that my lomokino alway skips 3 frames??? But I got a help from the Community. I am a Lomoguru. Read here the real story, or my own chaotic version of the article !

I did a little game: I clicked the 'random photo' button for hours and I liked the ones I like, without watching who shot them. I had a great little blog entry in mind, on how to discover new lomographers, the ones with the overlooked pics.

Today a new camera arrived and it is certainly going to be one of my favorites. I tested it with an expired roll of Fuji Velvia RVP.

Some months ago I posted a very short blog entry in which I wondered about the fact that we all love analogue, but we publish our pictures digitally. This question never left my mind and I am going to write down some thoughts on this theme, especially since every completion here states that the picture needs to be:” Any analogue photo not digitally enhanced or manipulated”

When I try something, I always try to do something new. I now everything has been done before, but I try to do at least something I never heard of. I tried to load two fuji superia 135 rolls on top of a 120 roll. It went wrong and I will not try it again.

I found a fifty year old pic from my mum and a pic I made some years ago on the same spot in my grandfathers workplace. I found some more old pics and new pics which show some resemblance

Some camera's can't do doubles. Or you want to shoot an 120 roll and send it to a friend to doubles. In both cases the roll has to be rewound. I made a very educational video for dummies. As usual you have to watch lots of nonsense to actually hear the essentials.

Even studio photography is based upon Sunlight

My Eurocentric ego forgot how small Belgium really is. So if any of you friendly lomographers ever visit Brussels, I will be glad to show you around Brussels and its medieval cities.
