First 2 rolls with La Sardina Fischer’s Fritze with Fritz the Blitz Flash. I love the flash. I love it wide. And it's a really cool conversation piece.

  • Full Moon Night for my 500th Album

    shared by vicuna on 2011-05-29

I was looking for a theme or idea to celebrate my 500th album and when I saw the full moon, so bright and so clear, I immediately knew what to shoot! :) And don't think it's the sun, it's the MOON! With long exposure it looks like the rising sun, but no, it's the rising moon :)

Gujuli is a really small village near Vitoria (30 km), in the north of Spain. To get there you follow a serpentine road though all kinds of green valleys. The village is lost between mountains and you listen to a great cascade somewhere near. If you follow the sound of the water you'll find a 100 meters cascade that falls in a canyon of great beuty. Everything is peaceful there, surrounded by mountains, sheeps and green forests. Just 100 mts from the cascade, you can rent a house and keep quiet listening to the sounds of nature. No cars, no crowd... just you, the water, green field and your lomo cameras. The best time of the year to go there is spring (when the green is intense) or in autumm to have all kinds of oranges and yellows

These are from an old roll of Fujichrome Velvia which was loaded into Canon Sureshot years ago. A holiday trip brought out the camera last year and the film went in with a number of rolls of C-41. No one (not myself or at the lab) noticed and it got mistakenly cross processed. The resulting shots are wonderfully garrish.
