Few weeks back then, I posted a status at Facebook, mentioning, 'If there is no Lomography in this world, I'm not sure what will happen to me now."
Some people replied and said ‘sounds ridiculous’, some totally agree with me and there is one replied saying ’I’d be lonely’. Cruel to say it’s so true.
My life will be totally different. Yes, I will be lonely. Well, I still can continue live without Lomography of coz, but it would never ever be the same again. :)
4 years back then. Someone very close to me, noticed that I’m getting fed up and lost in my routine life. Still as a uni student back then, I do nothing after school everyday. All I do was sleep, eat, watch some tv series, movies and sleep and eat again. One day, during our dinner he brought up a topic, to share with me. He said, ‘Lomography’. I replied, ‘What …graphy?’.
After the conversations, I’m back to home, and really started to ‘google’ about ‘Lomography’. :)
This is how I first get the idea of all these cute lil’ toy camera.
I love shooting photographs ever since I’m small. My dad used to shoot our pictures from baby, till we aged maybe 14 or 15. Till I’m big enough to bring a film camera and shoot pictures of myself, and friends. I have a collection of birthday pictures since I was 1 years old. And becoz of that, I’m well trained, never shy in front of the camera (oopps!), capturing each and anyone’s birthdays (and other memorable moments) and love bringing camera to everywhere I went.
I still remember my first ever experience of Lomography was a trip in Nov2006, it’s a friend’s black fisheye2. We borrowed for the trip and shoot 2 rolls of it. And my heart beats so fast and can’t wait till I touched down KL, and send to developing! 2 days later, right before we go to the photo lab and get our photos, I feel that my hand sweat, feel butterflies in the stomach, I’m indeed…so nervous.
The moment I saw the first 2 rolls, are indeed….memorable!
I love it!
I love it so much!!!!!
I look weird, but I love it! :)
Since then, the black fisheye2 had became my companion. :)

I bring him out to places I went, shoot with the people I loves.
The fish had bring such a memorable moments for me. It captures so many joy and funny moments in my life ever since.
The love of Lomography doesn’t just stop there. To everyone who is addicted to Lomography, definitely owned more than just one lomo camera. :)
I get a Holga after the fish.
After Holga, it’s Diana F+, Fuji Instax, then LC-A then Pop9, Action Sampler, Diana Mini, Spinner and so on. And, the collection is still growing. :)
Life had been so wonderful. It’s in fact had bring me so many colors in life.
‘If there is no Lomography in this world, I’m REALLY not sure what will happen to me now."
