avignon fail- or rule 9 win.

as i got this picture back from the photolab, i found myself staring at it and shaking my head in disbelief for approx. 5 minutes. i just really- don't. know. what is on this picture. i have no. idea. whatsoever.
okay, so it's my roommate and me in the right corner, i probably took a picture of us in a mirror.
and five or six weeks after my roommate and me looked at this picture, we found ourselves sitting in our favourite café in avignon, and suddenly my roommate was shouting across the whole room: "the lamps! look at the lamps!", cause that's when she realised that the lamps in this mysterious picture are the ones from our favourite café.
everything else on this picture is unexplainable to us and will always be.

so, the mistakes i made in this picture probably are: B setting and having shaky hands while taking a café lamp picture, forgetting to wind the film and thus having an unintended double exposure, and the general diana thing about sometimes not being able to put the things/ persons you want to take a picture of in the middle of the picture because the diana viewfinder is not really exact.
the colours are strange as well, but that's unexplainable to me.
let's just quote the lomography.com rule 9 explanation again: "A few days later you get your Lomographs from the lab and can't believe your eyes: who's that? What's that colour? When did I shoot that? Whose hair is this? Is that you? No it's Sabrina… interesting, and Hansi's feet too… bewildering, your butterfly collection, what a shame, a bottle of schnapps, a huge head, blurs, surprises, smiles, teeth, accidental double-exposures..."

yep, welcome to my diana f+ life.
