Too Damn Hot

2

I’d thought I’d lost the camera. After taking four photos, I turned it on for its fifth and found the camera buzzing and blinking. With temperatures in the mid thirties Celsius, the battery on my Instax didn’t just give up the ghost — it became a zombie that flailed its lens and beeped incessantly.

At first, I thought it had been my sweat dripping into the camera. That still might be the case, but I have since taken the camera out and had the same thing happen with no ill effect, albeit at a cooler temperature.

I was sad and thought that the camera was lost. But I kept my head, loaded a new roll after it had had a week to recover, and it was back to taking the fine lo-fi images for which I had come to love it.

The Instax doesn’t like hot weather.

I'm very regret didn't buy polaroid photo paper when it's very huge stock in my country and cheap price circa 1990-1999 T-T
