I love travel and I love instant photography. I took three versions of the picture shown above. All came about after we found ourselves in a fog heading south from Madison in Yellowstone National Park. It looked as if it were going to be an ugly day, but the low clouds broke north of the Lower Geyser Basin and this is what we saw. I photographed it with every camera I was carrying, but I love this one the best.

Minutes later, I took this:

It was a blessed trip. Earlier on, we stopped at Bonneville Salt Flats where I captured this classic image, also with my Instax:

I also packed an Ihagee Exakta that I had inherited from my grandfather. This 1930s SLR produced some amazing photos including this capture of the rim of the Yellowstone Caldera:

I played around with newer cameras, like the Lomography Fisheye2, which I used to capture this backstage scene at a model shoot:

And can I say how much I have come to love my La Sardina?

Thank you for your support as I post pictures from both my past and my present. I also take digital photos which you can sift through at my flickr stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/notfrisco/

The next trip is due in March when we go to Salt Lake City to inter my mother at the Catholic Cemetery there. Rest assured that I will have the cameras along to take pictures of places not yet encompassed by my photographic eye.

Keep it simple, keep it real!
