Return of the Photographer

I have been a long time away.

And you know the reason why — my wife was fighting off cancer. I only rarely went out to take pictures with either my DSLR or my toy cameras. Most of the time, I stayed close to home, except for one trip to attend the funeral of my cousin. I took some shots with the Fisheye on the way back in a little place called Red Mountain. Downtown didn’t amount to much.

A couple of weeks ago, I took a cruise to Mexico. I just now finished packing my film for developing. Mexico minimally excited me, perhaps because I have been so out of practice. Mind you, I did have fun. My eye wandered and I have been a little bored with the results. That could be a depression talking, though.

I will have the results by next week.

So did you miss me?

grazie littlekoala and atria007: glad to see you all again and thank you for your visit. I have put up two rolls of film that were sitting in cameras before I went on the Mexico trip. If you haven't seen them yet, I think there are some worthwhile shots. I missed everyone here, but there were higher concerns that needed to be addressed. Glad to be back.
