is the name of the little park near my work. The light was (still is) so awesome lately, I can capture it at lunchtime. The black and white photos were taken on a heavily-clouded day.

I recently went through sad moments and my sister offered to pose and keep my brain busy. We decided to go and shoot with this melancholic mood and we got this result. She is just awesome <3

this is my first trial with the new Pentacon Six my beloved friend @tall_bastard got me. I'm a bit dissapointed on burning my pictures again and again... I need to get a light meter soon before the summer ends! I hope you enjoy some of the shots at least! :)

so...everybody warned me about this camera tending to overexpose a little bit and it seems I needed to make the mistake myself to learn ^^ I also realise after shooting so often in square format I need to work on my panoramic composition again haha! but we are all here to learn I guess :) Still, hope you enjoy them! <3

  • Water and school

    shared by vicuna on 2013-11-26

These are 2 very important topics for this country. We had the opportunity to visit a village near of Nouna, called Koussiri, where the international partnership between Nouna, St Priest (France) and Mühlheim/Main (Germany) could achieve to install a water pump (called "Volanta") that gives the people clear and healthy water (instead of open wells often polluted by a lot of things). The other matter is about education. We visited some schools in Nouna and brought them some pencils, notebooks, rulers, rubbers, and other materials so that can work properly with their pupils.

I didn't remember that the first pictures of this roll were already shot on a sunset in Nice, and apparently I re-rolled the film, but these accidental doubles with the pool of the Hotel Ricardo in Ouagadougou are interesting! :)

  • The Land of upright People

    shared by vicuna on 2013-11-23

That's the meaning of the name "Burkina Faso". And all the people I met there were really proud to be burkinabe. And in front of the camera, they didn't play anything, but expressed soemthing very strong and upright, especially the kids. I'd like to thank all these people for their kindness, hospitality and for the portraits I could shoot of them.
