Redscale Xr Pentax; too much grain

Im not understanding why my photos have so much grain. I shot with pentax ME super. Was the ASA not ok? What would be the best way to use edscale xr in a pentax?

Now I want to know what is the best way to use my pentax and the rescale film to NOT get such grainy photos! which ASA should it be on?
