Isolation
I find 2 ways to separate myself from others. The second one is simple but I cannot do it everytime I want to be alone. Go to the far end of the world, find a big dune to climb and watch the world from there. This is Namibia which is one of the most isolated places in the world. Nice place to get lost.

at home my mum has hanged a few photos of my sisters and I climbing this same dune, from four years ago. I was only 12. Our family holidays are always somewhere isolated, I'm in Uganda right now! I even remember getting angry at my parents and climbing up one of those dead trees you also took some photos of. Surprisingly this photo brought me clearer memories than any of the digital photos hung at home. Sorry for the story, I just remembered all this and I felt like typing it. Stunning image by the way :)

@mensa Thanks for your story! Didn't you hurt your hand climbind the dead trees. I remember I sat down next to one and I pricked my hand while holding one of the fallen branches. I think Namibia is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

@disdis Possibly! I only remember how good it felt up there and in the middle of the desert. My sister had appendicitis there and we had to take a plane to Swakoptmund (i think), were it was removed. Certainly a peaceful place, but not the best for surgery!
