I'm waiting for my red eye flight across the country tonight. My wife flew to Halifax this morning to participate in the Cape Breton Relay Race. She thinks I'm staying home with the kids all weekend, and has no clue that I arranged for childcare and bought myself a plane ticket too. Just before she left she said, "I wish you could come too." I said, "So do I." :D So here I sit, waiting for my 11:00pm, 4-1/2 hour flight over 3 time zones, drinking a beer in the hopes that it will help me sleep on the flight. Maybe I shouldn't have ordered the side of beans - time will tell.

Something about this is so comforting to me. I think I just love airports and flying.
