I was just talking w/ my bf about this recently. The sad fact that the phrase "Kodak moment" will no longer be as recognized pains me to no end. As a brand and a fixture in American (hell, in global) pop culture, I hope something can rescue Kodak before it completely fades away. The article makes some great points, and I hope maybe something like Impossible Project comes around for Kodak. Also, I'm finding the startling and frightening reality that a lot of drugstores around me don't even process the disposables anymore. >__>

My biggest fear for film photography is that one day there will be no film to be had, or that the choice of film will be limited two one or types of film. I really hope that someone can keep the beautiful diversity of film alive.
