king of fruits
Widely known in southeast Asia as the "king of fruits", the durian is distinctive for its thorn-covered husk, unique odour and acquired flavour. Durian season runs from May to August and they are available at most fruit stalls. You can however, dirty your hands and savour the exceedingly rich and exotic fruit on the spot at durian stalls around Singapore. These stalls offer a wide variety of durians like D24, Mao Shan Wang, Golden Phoenix, etc, and a dining area with free drinking water.
