The abundance of nature in Kuching was a welcomed contrast for a Hong Konger. The beauty of the land, the people, and the union of the two through music was something I'm very glad I was a part of and should be a universal experience. Join me on a climb to a waterfall and more from my first trip to Malaysia after the jump!

I was advised by a relative LC-Wide veteran (explorette) that I could still flick my LC-Wide to half-frame mode, even if I didn't have the mask with me. She didn't tell me what the effects would be, but I was more than happy with the results.
It's been 9 months since I visited the Malaysian state of Penang, and I'm already feeling the need to go back.

We have now had chance to look through all the entries we received for the ‘My Analogue Life Video Contest’ and would like to thank everyone who took the time to take part. There were some really creative entries, but unfortunately we didn’t get nearly as many submissions as we hoped for. We believe this was due a misunderstanding over the type of video we are looking for, and apologize that this was not made clearer during the duration of the rumble. But we would like to now more clearly explain the concept and re-open the competition to encourage more people to take part, since the prizes on offer are so amazing and we believe everyone in the community should have the opportunity to submit!
We've partnered with the new flick "Violet & Daisy" starring Saoirse Ronan and Alexis Bledel. This film's all about being edgy in style, so send us your photos that are "beautiful and badass" for some sick prizes!

Personally I am a huge fan of redscaling. It allows you to get some color in your photos, even on the grayest of days. But what if you just want to add the redscale effect to just some of your photos rather than shooting an entire roll this way? Easy enough: use a red filter! And while you're at it, why not throw in some other colors as well?! Read on to find out how you can turn your LC-A+ in to a rainbow camera!
