Time to sit down evaluate where my analogue journey goes next......

I’ve finally got a chance to sit down with a glass of wine and some time to think about where I take my analogue journey next.
Most of you will know about the rising discomfort in the lomography community recently. It now feels to most like we give a lot and receive very little back. The new piggy rules have been a step to far. I always enjoyed writing articles and saving up my points for a new camera or haul of film. Now it all feels a bit pointless. The piggies are not the reason we write but they were a good way to say thank you. Lomography holds the rights to our photos, they frequently use them without permission and we are always ok with that. But suddenly these things dont feel so good…. I’ve barely lifted a camera this week and I have been looking for things to spend my piggies on before the new rules come in but feel increasingly unhappy with the lack of film in the shop.
What I’m trying to some up here is the feeling of not knowing where to take my writing. Do I continue writing articles and sharing my ideas for lomography in articles and get piggies, which I have to spend huge amounts of money to use?
Or do I share my ideas and progress here, in a blog form and just do it for the nice feeling we get when we help or inspire each other?
Of course another option is a blog outside of lomography, I know some people here already do that. Wordpress seems to be a good option.

Any ideas……. Please share and inspire me!

I recognise the feeling. I started a Wordpress blog because if I'm writing for free, I might as well do it under my own terms and conditions, and in my own language (Dutch). If I have something to say in English, I'll still write it here on Lomography.com, but mostly on my blog, not as an article.
It's hard though, here I could be reasonably sure of many readers, my WordPress blog has yet to draw in the masses.

@stratski @marjanbuning Thanks both for your reply. This is still something I'm thinking over. StratskiI have to admit that is a big factor. Here we have a massive audience of like minded people, over at wordpress we will have a struggle. Although balanced with your own terms and conditions as well as being able to include more of other aspects of your life is quite tempting. Lomo love to you both
