LSI posted a marketing item on Facebook that got massive instant likes, mostly thanks to my shot they used, and I got NOTHING in return! Is that fair...?
This evening, LSI published a marketing article on its Facebook page that used one of my shots, and within an hour of being published it got over 800 likes, 60 comments and 80 shares, and what did I get…? Squat, nada, niente, zip! Not even any comments on my original article from which the shot was taken. Yes, I guess there’s probably some disclaimer somewhere that says they can do whatever the hell they like with our shots, but I think for the advertising pull they got for free out of my work LSI should at least send me a couple of rolls of film or something (Preferably Kodak Aerochrome EIR! ;-)
On the positive side, the massive response to the LSI Facebook post says something about how many of us analogue-heads there still are out there. Lomo on, indeed!
