Construction Heart

Construction Heart

These little hearts appear in areas where road construction is taking place or has finished. In this case, Roncesvalles Ave. in Toronto was torn up for YEARS while they did track work, and then who-knows-what-else. It's finally open again, and the small stores are beginning to recover.

I've seen other hearts like this in the West Queen West neighbourhoods.
