Wait... That actually looks amazing!!

It wasn't long after getting my first Holga 135 that I had seen a modified lens cap to be used as a Splitzer. After seeing the results, I knew I had to cut my lens cap and achieve these Super-Cool split image photos!

It was probably around 2 months after getting my first Holga 135 that I was starting to feel more comfortable and thinking less, sometimes that’s the key, just letting go. I had purchased a B&W film bundle from LSI and I had just modified my lens cap and was uber excited to test this out. It was a sunny afternoon so I decided to load the roll of Agfa APX 100 I had and go out for a Lomo-Walk. Once I had reached the beach area it started to become overcast, I thought to myself, “Crap! I just loaded some 100 speed film and there goes the sun :/”. Well I pushed on and, just let go. As it turned out days later when I got the contact sheet and negatives back, this was my greatest achievement yet, I loved the whole roll! One picture in particular stood out to me, I recalled when I shot the photo, the bird was very accepting of me taking it’s picture. As I clicked the shot I turned and there was a No Parking Anytime sign, I didn’t even think, I just flipped the lens cap and click. Amazing and very gratifying. I’m very happy that I can share it with you, the community!
