If you Minox 35 used 1.35V mercury batteries like PX625's and you use 1.5V alkalines like PX625A's, you'll probably overexpose 1 to 2 f/stops. Also, alkalines drop voltage over use and exposure will vary. Find Weincell zinc-air 1.35V batteries. They only last 9-12 months in use, but are accurate over their life. You can't buy mercury batteries anymore, except, maybe, in China and India, because they are environmentally very incorrect. I use Weincells in Vivitar 220/sl, Minolta SR505, Topcon RE Super, and Besseler Topcon Super D, and they work great.
