Seems as if everyone @LSI is already on holidays so the SELECTED-section is shut down. Since almost one week there is no update. But hey: do we need them to get pics selected?

dear lomo-friends! my LC-A cams are both old and broken. i´m hard thinking about buying me a new one but on top of my list is the 166+. from all your pics i know what the 166+ can achieve in mediumformat but what about shooting 35mm with it?

K303 is a road. It´s a beautiful road I think. The section I know is short but it looks good. Before 10 days ago I had never heard or noticed K303 even though I passed it more than 100 before. On monday was my 1st birthday at lomography.com. Unfortunately I missed it as I was busy cruising through cities in the south of Germany where I spend my childhood and youth. Anyway I think it´s time for a short look back.

currently there is this "divide your likes into a hundred" rumble which is a nice bonus for the hardcore-likers. i know what it means doing something pretty often on this page as over the last months - except for my time off during holidays - i was always among the top commenters. well, even though i´m not always writing personal messages i only write something if i really like the photo and/or if it is compared to others in the album better. but comments are different from likes…

several months ago i was in touch with LSI and i was asking if they could implement a bookmark section so everyone can easily find shots and articles and blogs and tipsters… more easily. the first feedback was: nice idea! it´ll be forwarded to those in charge. since then nothing happened. but when last week the collection section was introduced and opened for everyone i finally had a tool to archive all those shots of you out there which i like best. those inspiring shots, those cool snapshots, thought-over photographs, great locations, incredible portraits,…

dear lomo-friends, tomorrow i´ll leave for two weeks and i won´t have internet access. so just do me a favour: don´t upload your best shots in the next two weeks because i´ll miss them! i mean don´t you think you can learn some lessons in patience by holding them back?

Our beloved lomographer @cc-in-paris uploaded this great picture of a football pitch which I commented and she had the idea to write about football and ask me if I would join in. So here we are now. The question to answer is why we love this game?

For sure the Selected-Feature is an ambivalent thing. Maybe the right time to start a discussion. Probably even the right place as the Shoutbox isn´t good enough to write down arguments.

Today the German national team has it´s first game in the European Championships. Time to show a soccer pic. So here is the pic of the day for me.

While looking for information about a certain camera i came across a blog of a guy who posted each week a test-photo of one of his cameras. I thought i could do something new each week or better use something I already have and don´t just shoot with the same 3 or 4 cameras all the time. So I had the idea to get some new ones or some others don´t use that often.

As some of you may have noticed I did a series with typo on an apple and a banana. I´ll quickly tell in a few lines how and why.

i had the idea for this entry last week-end when a friend of mine came visiting me. he is into cycling and has seen pretty much everything around where he lives. so i asked him if it wouldn´t be good to have a small camera in his jersey for good opportunities and he said it probably would. so we were thinking about which camera when i told him to use a diana mini (i don´t have one myself) adn he was up on thinking about using his minox TLX he won years ago - even though there still remains the question where to buy films and where to get them developped. so i thought where i was around not having a camera with me except my mobile phone.

i don´t have such a huge amount of pics i can chose from as i found my way back to analogue photography just a few months ago but anyway there is one shot i really like.

this week i got a few awards for pressing the like button. for me time to make a most liked-shots-list of all my likes! this is the status quo! no order in there.
