So they say that this camera is almost cheating because it's almost impossible to take a bad shot with all the automatic settings. So what do I do as a novice? I go on a rampage using just the manual setting... Still have some things to learn it seems!
I love this camera for some reasons but I also would still choose some of my other Lomo cameras over it depending on the circumstance. I love the clarity of the picture, but if you want a more dream like quality this is not your baby unless you shoot it manually out of focus…
Here are some of my favourites from the roll:
However, because I was using the full manual setting, there were still some lessons to be learned – exposure again was causing me issues. I loved this shot but it came out underexposed:
You can still do some neat tricks with this SLR, such as double exposures, however they’re a bit more fiddly as you’ve got to physically set it so that you take two – five (I think?? possibly more) exposures before you start shooting the shot.
This was shot using an expired roll of film (god knows how old) that came with the camera. Picked up the whole bundle including 50-80mm lens and 4 expired rolls of film for NZ$50!
