Accident on Levee Street

or how I failed on [sort of] recreating Abbey Road's album cover.

So I am there, sitting on a chair by Levee Street in Brownsville, Texas, waiting for the art walk/music show to start and seeing people coming and going. Suddenly, I see a band is getting to Galería 409 (the venue); there they are, four guys holding their music instruments. The first thing that comes to my mind is “Abbey Road”, and I immediately hold my camera and adjust the settings as fast as I can, “I can’t miss this”, I say to myself. I do this so fast I don’t notice the shutter speed is doing the opposite (getting slow!), but I guess that’s what I get for carrying an iso 200 film; I press the button and the exposure times seems eternal… “DAMN, this photo will be all blurred and probably won’t even come up le sad”.

Two weeks later, I get to see the photo, what a surprise to see that the shot that stressed me turned out to be my favorite from that night! Yay for happy accidents! :D
