Orthochromatic World - First test film ADOX Ortho 25
My first experiments, using a super low speed orthochromatic B/W film. Photographic materials have been orthochromatic in the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th century. This kind of films provide an extremely high contrast at very fine grain, because it is not capturing red light. That gives a very vintage look ( exactly like photographs have been taken 100-150 years ago ). Interesting film. I will certainly use it again. This photo was shot on film. Taken by berndtotto with a Fujica Compact 35 loaded with ADOX Ortho 25 film in Yokohama, Japan. These tags describe this photo: adox, ortho, orthochromatisch, orthochromatic, 25, asa, vintage, fujica, compact, yokohama, and japan. This photo can also be found in the album An orthochromatic world.
