I bought some expired Fuji Velvia 100 35mm film for an excellent price, I shoot 7 of the 10 rolls I bought without having any problems or even noticing any major changes. For the 8th roll I ended up having a few shots weirdly grainy. Can you help me find out why?
I bought ten rolls of expired Fuji Velvia film. I’ve been shooting all around with my LC-A, under different conditions, without having any problems. For the 8th roll, I changed the lab cause I heard some great things about this other lab that knows the “Lomo techniches” and have some lomographers as clients. The thing is that some of the shots on that roll came out very grainy. Mostly the outdoor shots. I took a look at the film and in fact those grainy shots are over exposed, but I’m stll debating with myself about the reason. Was it me? Is it the expired film? Is it the lab? Is it the camera? If it’s the camera what exactly in it? Please take a look at the photos and feel free to comment. =)
