I picked up my first film camera at a very young age. However, as a 90's child, the digital age took over before I even had to chance to grasp film photography. Digital photography didn't have much appeal to me. I felt that there would always be someone who was better at manipulating the digital photos, which allows the photographs to lose their sense of integrity and authenticity. Anyone can take a digital picture and change it in an editing program. I believe that film photography takes more skill. You only have one chance to imprint a moment. Photos are not digitally manipulated - instead, different lenses, films, cameras, etc. are used to create a truly unique photo. I find that to mean so much more as a photographer.

And so, I travel on this road of photography. Though, I only recently picked up film photography, I have found that I have a certain fascination for instant photography. There's just something about this particular type of medium that I find so intriguing. Therefore, all my photos will most likely be instant photos taken with my Diana F+ and the matching instant back. I hope you enjoyed your visit to my LomoHome, and come back soon!
