Test roll with the Rollei 35S. This camera is incredibly cute and very well made, probably from the early 1970's. It's a little quirky and hard to operate smoothly though. I think I prefer the Petri Color 35 to this one. Image quality is OK but I think the Petri is better. Maybe I need a UV filter on it or something because the contrast was just so so. Also, the film got jammed and broke which I understand is a common issue with them.

More doubles with the little Fujipet 35. This is my favorite camera lately and my favorite film. Can't get enough of these crazy doubles on the Redscale XR! :)

The little Fujipet 35 with Redscale XR never fails to delight me. I've been saving this roll for weeks waiting for the right day to scan it. Today is my 45th birthday and I'm feeling great now having had gall bladder surgery just last week. Gonna be a good spring. :D

Various shots from the area...Shelburne Falls on Mother's Day, the Autocars in Bernardston and scenes from Turners Falls and my front yard. I was way more impressed with the little Ricoh this time than I was in the earlier test. This one is a keeper and will be a nice pocket cam for the summer.

Maybe it's my mid life crisis or something...but I'm in love and I don't care who knows it! :D I have always gravitated towards wide angle but this roll just blew me away. Wow, I bow before thee o LomoGods. :) Great bright viewfinder (although final image is larger than what you see), nice two zone control, sharp sharp sharp lens that way exceeds the original LCA IQ. Delightful.

Lake Pleasant is a weird and creepy place. It was a spiritualist retreat in the 19th century and the names of the original members were inscribed on the boards lining the footbridge known as The Bridge of Names. Over the years they added many other names too some of which seem kind of fanciful since I doubt all of those people visited the place. Anyway, I always feel very odd and a little uncomfortable when I go there as there are strange energies. They still hold regular "psychic fairs" there. Other scenes from this roll: a farm in Bernardston and also the old Miller's Falls Tool Company complex which is now home to Renovator's Supply which makes custom fixtures and items for home restoration. Don't know how those darned fingers got in some many photos!

Natalie and I did a film swap, HI to MA. Fun stuff and probably as close as I'll ever come to visiting Hawaii...anyhow, I wish my Sprocket Rocket shots had come out a little stronger but Natalie's sun drenched tropical paradise scenes definitely stole the show. Thanks Natalie! :)

Random shots from the past few weeks at home, in Turners Falls, the charming village of Montague, Northampton and the other charming village of Shelburne Falls. We're so lucky in this area to have these cool old towns that were built on the many rivers in the area. Since they had abundant sources of waterpower they were built up as mill towns in the 1800's.
