Elmo... First test rolls with the Diana Mini. Wanted to see how it takes to 200 ISO film, given the Mini's aperture settings, as well as the whole winding mechanism problem. I really hope this camera works better with slide film, because so far I'm in no way impressed and this camera is frikkin peanuts against my Konica SLR which made me love 35mm film.

MMK - Modern Art Museum of Frankfurt: An Exciting Discovery!

When I hear "modern art", I think of Malevich's Black Square and the most random objects that I would never consider "art". A lot different with the Modern Art Museum in Frankfurt, Germany. It is HEAVEN fornphotographers. And even though there are indeed some random objects, there's still a lot more than that to discover.

Shooting a Photograph of Someone Vs. Taking Someone's Portrait

There's a difference between merely taking a photo of someone and making a great portrait. The first shows a person, the second tells something about a person. This article contains one hundred photos of the latter.

My photos are dear to me but if I have to choose 20 at this moment(the list might have a slight change if I do it tomorrow), I'll pick these. Maybe because I remember feeling happy, good, excited, emotional, or even sad while taking them. That's how my shooting goes I think. Mostly based on my emotions, moods or how I feel at the moment. :)

Long Lost Baklava Photos Found! + The Recipe

Recently I fount a box of slides, lost since 1979, of how to make a Baklava, for a class in Public Speaking, taken for college credit. The camera and lens they were taken with were remarkable, a Canon VT with a 5cm Zunow f/1.1 lens! The camera and lens are lost. I loaned them to someone who moved away.
