After shooting a roll, take it into a dark room and open the film. Then sprinkle hot water filled with baking soda all around on the film, with flicking my fingers. Rewind it and put into a pan and pour water, and boiled it for about 5 minutes. Rinse and dry, and cross-deveop it. Done!

    shared by izadrazi on 2012-06-11

It's my first time experimenting with film soup, which basically means agitating the film with agents that supposedly "harm". These photos clearly show there's nothing harmful about film soup. This particular film has been soaked in a mixture of boiling water, silica gel, salt and detergent for 2 nights and then dried before use.

Seasoned with baking soda. Not boiled. Seems not stained much, only color balance has changed. I will try some more and report in detail.

I will cook some more anyway =)

    Yashica Mat 124G: A Twin-Lens Classic

It was love at first sight when I laid eyes on this beauty. The solid metal body, sleek lines, huge focusing screen, and unique dual-lens look made me swoon. Give it a try, this medium-format camera could just be your blast from the past too!

Exposing both sides of the film (EBS). ISO400 for normal side. ISO200 for redscale side. Have a look at my article about this technique: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs
