Their Really Big Gun
Our Sailor guide was telling us about the OTO Melara Mk 75 76 mm/62 caliber naval gun, and was handing the nearly two foot long shells to anyone who wanted to try to hold them. I love the expressions on the face of the guy in the gray polo shirt just to the right of my dad in this and the next shot. This photo was shot on film. Taken by alburnkat with a Lomography Spinner 360 (available in our Online Shop) loaded with Fuji Superia X-Tra 800 Expired film in Detroit, MI, United States. These tags describe this photo: navy, week, ship, cutter, frigate, uss, uscgc, dewert, katmai-bay, flags, gun, and helicopters. Date: 2012-09. Time: Afternoon. This photo can also be found in the album Navy Week Detroit.
