Snowy Redscale and a blue darkroom experiment

Snowy Redscale and a blue darkroom experiment

We have some snow in Sofia these days, so I decided to take my chances with Redscale. The blue mess comes from an attempt to recreate this tipster: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2012/10/31/make-wet-red-bubbles-grow-on-your-home-processed-colour-film but with blue light on a redscale film. More light and more water is needed probably.

adash Taken by adash with a zorki loaded with diy redscale film in Sofia, Bulgaria. These tags describe this photo: trees, tree, park, experiment, darkroom, snowing, snow, diy, and redscale. Date: 2013-01-26. Time: Afternoon. This photo can also be found in the album Snowy Redscale and a blue darkroom experiment.

    This is great, what a creative idea, and the combination of Redscale and Blue light that give you the great pop of complementary colors, Brilliant actually!!!

    @sobetion @kibs @alexyz Thanks!!!!!
    @alburnkat Thank you too. I had visualized it in my head with larger bubbles, but that's what I got. The technique is very unpredictable....
