PROEF - the most delicious experience!
Proef is Dutch food design studio – food place which I had luck to visit. It is founded by Dutch designer Marije Birgitt Vogelzang. This place is very unique. The service, music, space, eating tools, food colors and form everything there seems very important and made in very professional way. Starting from the interior it is very laboratory look with many different tools which I know is not used for making food, more in chemistry or by cabinetmaker, but you should come here to see that a great theatre they do with such equipment. Menu is different in Rotterdam and Amsterdam especially in Amsterdam as they work only on weekend. Some food is similar some not. The food is bionic and very ecologic and the working stuff always suggests and creates some special food combination for you. Usually we take breakfast or lunch kit, which cost 10euros/ per person or even less. Everything you get it seems just from the garden and served in very simple and untraditional way that looks very charming. It is all about food ritual. Proef is based in Rotterdam (Monday – Sunday) and have also Proef in Amsterdam (Friday to Sunday). Please visit http://www.proefrotterdam.nl/
