Fancy shooting at dusk or at night with your Lomo LC-Wide, but not quite sure how to get good photos in low-light conditions? The answer lies in that tricky yet nifty technique called long exposure! Take a look at some examples done by some of our fellow lomographers who successfully snapped some impressive long exposures with their wide-eyed analogue companion!

Attempting Concert Lomography by Photographing Indonesian Music Legend Fariz RM

Unfortunately, all my photos from the concert are overexposed. I actually still have to learn how to capture a stage photo. But, for a Class A musician, Fariz RM, all the disappointments and sacrifices were worth it.

Sydney...from a Girl from the Suburbs View

I have lived about one and a half hours north of Sydney my whole life before moving overseas. We went to the big smoke for school trips, special events, and shopping. Upon returning home and showing my Canadian boyfriend around the city, these were the places I had to show him and would recommend to anyone visiting!

  • Exposing Both Sides of the Film

    shared by hodachrome on 2012-06-16

First trial of EBS. Shot twice on correct side first, in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside), with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). And shot twice on redscale side as the same way as 1st run, in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200, with a splitzer. It's tough challenge because I had to wait for the best weather for each shots, and had to be careful with gap between frames. I found some mistakes. Will test again!!!

First trial of EBS. Shot on correct side first in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside). Below half was masked with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). Then start shooting on redscale side in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200. Upper half was masked with a splitzer. The order of each location is precisely the same as 1st shots. I took notes in details about locations and shot all places with iPhone, to remember locations. It's tough challenge because I had to wait for the best weather for each shots, and had to be careful with 'gaps' between frames. This is not bad result but I found some mistakes. Have a look at my article about this technique: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs
