OK, I admit it. Dump sites have given me some of my favorite shots. Especially small towns.
In the early 90s, I went on a series of canoe and bicycle trips down or along the Red Deer River from Tolman Crossing to various points as far as Dinosaur Provincial Park. I discovered a number of abandoned homesteads in the river valley which were frequent subjects of a lot of film. These are some of my favorite shots.
