Measure your perfect Macro distance

Measure your perfect Macro distance

  1. Get your hands on some papers for making rollies – like Rizla or OCB
  2. Stick the paper directly over where the film would normally go
  3. Set your Diana to B mode and aim at bright light.
  4. (Cup your hands around the back to give some shade if the surrounding light is too bright).
  5. Then take a look and you will see the image appear on the paper. For the fisheye lens you need to get as close as 3-4cm away from the object you are hunting!
  6. Measure the exact distance at which you can see a sharp image.
  7. Hey presto!
