Diana+ Macro shots

the eeeasycheeesy

Why you want to do it! - To get sexy close²-up pictures of your favorite fruit

What you need:- Diana+ - Tunnelvision lens - optional: a screw, 35mm long

How-to build: un-screw the macro part of the tunnelvision and screw it into the plastic lens housing of your Diana. Needs a bit of force, but fits perfectly. (Be careful with this modification, you do this modification at your own risk, since force needs to be used to screw in the lens).

1) Before loading the film check the macro distance. (see: semi-opaque paper trick) measure or remember the distance (should be 3-4cm) or better, attach a screw with the right length to the magnet of the tunnelvision-macro lens; this is also a good aid to know if the motif is really in the picture.

2) Load film, shoot.

Diana+ Macro shots

How to shoot: - remember that you need a good amount of light -preferably natural light, otherwise steady the camera somehow and use the "B" mode.

3) If you prefer a flash you might want to try the Ringflash. Other flashes ON the camera do not work as the light probably does not reach the thing in front of your lens. If you fire the flash off camera, be careful not to fire the flash too close on the subject, it's too strong on short distances.
