I love Warhol's aethetics and the philosophy of his art. His brand of popular art elevates the ordinary into artistic pieces - like the Campbell's soup cans and Brillo boxes. His portraits of celebrities, cultural icons and other influential people of his time are a fresh depature from the commonplace or canonical portraits of art schools. As a tribute to his beautiful mind, I turned his portraits into triples with experimental circles of random images and streets vignettes of Manila's Chinatown. The latter were added when I joined two of my artist-friends on a food trip in Binondo.
