Each and every day, this red-hot news source will be teeming with anything and everything pertaining to Lomography, photography, analog obsessions, local tales, Online Shop excitement, man-on-the-street profiles, site presentations, event announcements, travel guides, image galleries, and a whole buncha other stuff. It will be written and edited by our in-house staff of columnists. As always, we are starving for your input – so feel free to submit anything of Lomographic note to our BlogEditorial Team.

As the Official Blog of Lomography, we intend to present an avalanche of amazing, inspirational, funny, off-kilter, and slightly insane content that is relevant to the Lomographic Community. Much of our postings will be powered by your submissions. Not everything has to be photo-related - as we'll often write about music, events, tips, and other issues relevant to Lomographers. We obviously can't publish everything that is submitted, but we'll use an eagle eye to put up as much Lomographically critical info as possible.
Some things that we like (but are not limited to) are the following:
• Personal lomographic images and photo galleries
• Local photo shows, events, and competitions (especially Lomographic ones)
• Cool personal hobbies of Lomographers (music, art, travel, sports, accounting, etc)
• Travel tips and guides to places relevant to Lomographers
• Lomographic collaborations, projects, exhibitions, and the like.
And, we will definitely not publish any of the following:
• Offensive, ignorant, racist, sexist, or otherwise nasty things.
• Advertisements or commercial solicitations
• Links to e-commerce or catalog websites

By subscribing to the Lomographic Blog via RSS, you can ensure that you'll never miss a hot new posting. It's easy to do! RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication," and is a lite version of the usual HTML code used to build websites. Our Blog has an RSS feed, which is stated as "Subscribe via RSS" on the Blog homepage. Everytime a new post it made, it is translated into the simpler RSS language and available via the "feed."
First off, you'll need a RSS reader program (often called an aggregator) which will receive our "feed" and display it in a readable format. You can subscribe to a bunch of blogs and RSS feeds using this program - thereby giving you a single screen which shows the most current updates of your favorite websites. Many RSS readers are free, and some of our favorites include Google Reader, My Yahoo, and Sage for Mozilla Firefox. Once you choose and install a reader, then just follow its instructions on how to import the Lomographic Blog RSS feed into the program. We promise, it will be really easy! Once your subscription is active, then every new Blog post will stream into your reader - allowing you to easily browse through the topics. It's almost like getting an e-mail, but lighter and faster. And without any spam!
