Intern as an Assistant to the General Manager

Location: Paris, France

We are looking for a committed, curious, motivated, good-tempered and organized individual, someone who is willing to test the waters of Lomography and learn from all fields about an exciting growing business by interning and working hard for 2 months. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate.

Responsibilities:

- Translating into French: English articles, blog posts, newsletters and press releases
- Assist the Wholesale Manager in developing the clientele Portfolio and support existing accounts

Interaction Designer

Lomography is looking for a full-time interaction designer to join our team in Vienna, Austria. Lomography’s development team consists of four developers and two designers – we are small, but take care of a huge site (2,500,000 monthly visits, 9,000,000 online photos, a magazine of 40,000 articles, … – all in 15 languages). We expect you to be an integral part of this team and help us developing, maintaining and optimizing our site with your experience.

• Knowledge of the current software
• Producing XHTML/CSS that is semantically valid
• Writing JavaScript that works perfectly in all browsers
• Understanding of how CSS/JavaScript can degrade gracefully across browser versions
• Implementing your own designs and thinking in HTML/CSS (no Photoshop slicers please, even better: you prefer making your mockups with HTML instead of Photoshop)
